San Francisco City Hall Elopements

If you want to skip a traditional wedding ceremony and elope in a beautiful & romantic place, San Francisco City Hall is the perfect venue. With its grand staircase, stunning architecture and magical light, it’s also a great spot to take your wedding photos. It’s possible to do more beautiful locations after or before your photoshoot in SF City Hall, I’m always down for waiting until sunset to capture the magic or starting with first look/getting ready photos.

My husband and I decided to opt out on having a huge wedding and decided to venture out to the west coast and have an elopement style photo session. We came across Sarah's website and we were instantly blown away at her work. Once I contacted Sarah, she was able to respond quickly and had set up a time to meet via zoom. We really appreciated the zoom call because we were able to meet her prior to taking the photos and she was able to meet us and really talk about the photo session. After the zoom call, we immediately agreed that we wanted Sarah as our photographer because she was professional, and super sweet & kind to us. She really listened to what we wanted and what we didn't. The day of the photo session, we had SO much fun. My husband and I are very awkward in front of the camera, but she helped us along the way and it definitely helped! The session was four hours long and it went by so quickly because of all the fun we were having along the way as we ventured out to different locations to get some really awesome shots. We did hire an event decorator (she did an amazing job too) so Sarah was also able to coordinate with her on locations as we were in a different state which was a HUGE help. The photos were delivered on time and let me tell you, when we opened the photos, I instantly started crying at how stunning they were. Each photo was absolutely beautiful and we couldn't pick just one favorite. Would hands down work with her again if we did live in California!

Sarah was the most friendly person and skilled photographer we had the pleasure of meeting. She helped plan the perfect surprise proposal for my fiancé and I, out near Big Sur. In the weeks leading up to it, she coordinated with me on different possible areas to do it, what my plans were and what my girlfriend and I like. The day before we were able to coordinate the time and place to meet even though there was no network in the entire area. Sarah perfectly captured our engagement in the most beautiful area and took us around Big Sur to capture many more photos. She's truly an amazing person and I would very much recommend her for your photography needs, I know we would love another chance to have her shoot photos for us.
